Sending newsletters: privacy

Before going into the details of this guide and listing a series of services and tools for sending newsletters , I must make an important initial premise regarding privacy . In fact, you must know that according to the European regulation on the protection of personal data, it is necessary to have the consent of the recipient of the newsletter in advance.

If, therefore, your intention is to create a mailing list by manually adding the contacts to which to send your communications, know that sending newsletters without consent is not covered by the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation or the general regulation on protection some data).

That said, if you have a website and have provided a registration form for your newsletter which, in fact, provides for the sending of communications via email following the voluntary registration of the recipient, you will be happy to know that it is not necessary to acquire further consents.

All you have to do is include in your newsletter a link to a page on your site dedicated to the privacy policy and a button that allows the recipient of your emails to unsubscribe from the newsletter independently, easily and at any time. Finally, it will be useful to know that for sending newsletters with GDPR consent , it is also necessary to ensure that the recipient is not able to view the email addresses of the other subjects included in the mailing list. Clear? Well then let’s take action!

If your intention is to know solutions for sending free newsletters , you will be happy to know that it is possible to create mailing lists both with the main e-mail services, such as Gmail and Outlook , and by using free tools to create a newsletter: here all the details.
