Photo Collection

Although in the eyes of the average user it looks like a simple image viewer, in reality Photo Collection is excellent software for the 360-degree management of digital photos which allows not only to view all the main graphic file formats but also to organize them according to different criteria, search photos extremely quickly and apply various corrections to your shots. Adobe Photoshop it is one of the few cases in which the name of the program has become synonymous with its category. It is, in fact, the best photo editing program in the world which for years has allowed expert photographers as well as simple enthusiasts to modify and fix photos using any kind of tool / filter possible and imaginable. Using an ultra-professional program like Photoshop just to adjust the brightness of your vacation photos can be over the top. Here then comes into play GIMP, a very valid free alternative to Adobe software that offers many of the Photoshop functions without deviating too much from the quality of the paid solutions (indeed, in some cases it is even better). It is compatible with Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and has a user interface that is very easy to understand even for those who are new to the world of graphics (on the other hand, it is fully translated into Italian). Unshake

When taking photos with mid-range cameras or smartphones, it is very easy to encounter blurred images. Unshake is a small free application based on the platform Java which allows you to fix blurred photos reducing the blur and making the scenarios portrayed in them more “solid”. Like all such programs, it doesn’t work miracles but considering its ease of use, it definitely deserves a chance. Focus Magic

As its name suggests quite easily, Focus Magic is a program that allows you to fix blurry photos increasing its sharpness with customizable filters. It fails to save the most desperate situations but with the images coming slightly out of focus it is almost magical. The software is paid but is available in a free trial version that allows you to test all the functions for a maximum number of 10 photos. It is available for Windows and Mac OS X. It also allows you to edit sequence images (batch mode) and create animated GIFs.
