Microsoft Image Composite Editor it’s a program to assemble photos very advanced that allows you to combine and superimpose multiple images set in the same scenario with the aim of get high resolution panoramas aligned in a fully automatic way. The panoramic images generated by the software can be saved locally in the form of JPG or TIFF images or exported online as 3D panoramas that can be navigated on the Photosynth site. Autostitch it’s a program to assemble photos apparently basic but actually extremely powerful that it allows create panoramic images very easily and quickly. The software uses very advanced technology to automatically recognize images that match each other and combine them intelligently. This means that to use it just select all the photos you want to use in your panorama and then wait for the program to do the rest. All major graphic file formats are supported. Photoshop everyone knows it, it is the most complete and famous photo editing program available for Mac and Windows. What not everyone knows is that among its many functions there is also one for assemble photos into panoramic images. Just call the function Automate> Photomerge from the program menu and select the merging mode of the photos you want to apply: automatic, cylindrical, spherical, etc. The software is paid but is available in a free trial version that allows you to test all the functions for a period 30 days. It is probably not intuitive or simple to use like other software of the same genre but it has a very wide range of functions (it allows you to assemble photos using various working modes) and on its official website there are numerous tutorials that allow you to learn the its basic functions without “suffering” too much. As its name suggests quite easily, Photo-Mosaik-Edda is a very simple to use program that allows you to assemble photos to create mosaics professional looking. The software is available in two versions, one free and one paid which allows you to create mosaics using different and more customizable working methods. It supports all major graphic file formats (JPG, PNG, BMP, GIF and TIF), multi-core processors and a portable edition is also available that does not need installations to function.
