The first photo app I want to invite you to pay attention to is Pixlr. Haven’t you ever heard of it? Let’s fix it right away, don’t worry. This is an application that includes everything you need to edit your shots directly from your smartphone. It is available for free download on both Android than on iOS / iPadOSbut access to some tools and the elimination of advertising banners are only available by purchasing the paid version of the app, which costs 3.49 euros.

At the user’s disposal there are therefore filters, tools to crop, rotate and correct errors present in most digital photos, brushes for drawing and much more. As for the interface, it turns out to be well cared for and also quite intuitive.

To use the application, just start Pixlr on the device in use and select the photo on which to act: to do this you need to press on the item camera or photo in the main screen of the app, so as to take a photo on the spot or retouch one of those in the Gallery. After selecting the photo to edit, use the various buttons located in the lower part of the editor visible on the screen.

By pressing on the icon carrying casefor example, you can access the image editing tools (ex. crop, wheel, correct, etc.); the brush allows you to call up the tool to draw on the photo, clarify / darken the subjects or “pixelate” the areas to be censored; pressing the icon of little Star you access the Instagram-style filters and overlay effects available in the app, while selecting the icons of the frame and of T. you can add frames and text to your image.

At this point, select the filter with which you want to edit the photo and wait for it to be applied to it. By tapping on the icon with the adjustment rodsyou can possibly act on the parameters of the photo, so as to further refine the work done.

The edited photo can then be shared on Instagram or Facebook, it can be saved in the roll of the device or shared or opened through other apps on the device: to do this, just press the share symbol and select the option you prefer.

PhotoFunia (Android / iOS / iPadOS)

The photo apps that I have already proposed to you have not been able to attract your attention in a particular way because you are looking for a solution that allows you to create photomontages with your face or that of your friends? Then try PhotoFunia… I really think it can do for you!

It is in fact an app dedicated entirely to photomontages with all kinds of scenarios, famous characters and various nice effects. In order to work, it needs an active Internet connection on the device. It is completely free and is available for Android And iOS / iPadOS.

To use PhotoFunia, start the app and select one of the categories available in the section Categories. You can choose between Postcards to make postcards, Poster to insert your photos into preset scenarios, Faces or Celebrity to add your face (or that of your friends) to the body of other people or famous people, Magazines to turn your images into famous magazine covers and so on.

Then select the type of scenario in which you want to insert your photos, press the button Choose photos and choose whether to import a photo from the device roll, from social networks or to take a shot in real time. Then move and / or resize the selected image, press the button OK and wait for the photomontage to be created. Finally, press the icon of floppy disk located at the top right to save the photo on your phone or select the share icon to post it online.

In addition, it features manual controls for exposure, brightness, colors and other image parameters that are able to satisfy even the most demanding photographers. The VSCO Cam interface is very minimal and at first use it is not particularly intuitive but after a while it is appreciated for its speed. You can download it both on Android than on iOS / iPadOS.

After installing and running it on your smartphone or tablet, press the button Register with your email address or Register with your phone number and register by following the instructions you see on the screen. After registration, presses the symbol of square at the bottom, click on the icon (+) which is located at the top right and choose the image to edit: just select its preview and then the voice It matters to succeed.

At this point, tap on the symbol with the adjustment rods located at the bottom left and select one of the many filters among those available.
