This implies that your profile has been “invaded” by numerous photos but, since you do not like some of these, as you think you have turned out badly, you would like to remove the tag from them.
How do you say? That’s the way things are and, for this reason, you wonder like undressing from a Facebook photo? If so, don’t worry, as with a few simple clicks, you can make your name disappear from unwanted images that have been posted to your journal. During this tutorial I will explain how to proceed both from smartphones and tablets, through the Facebook app for Android and iOS / iPadOS, but also from a computer, from the official website of the social network or from its application for Windows 10. Furthermore, I will also give you some suggestions on how to put preventive measures in place so that these situations do not recur.

Like detaching from a Facebook photo
If you wonder like undressing from a Facebook photo, you will be happy to know that you can easily do this by using the Facebook for Android, iOS/iPadOS, but also from a computer, by connecting to the official website of the well-known social network of Mark Zuckerberg or using theFacebook application for Windows 10. In this regard, you will find all the information on how to proceed in the next lines.
From smartphones and tablets
You want to know how to remove the tag from a Facebook photo, acting as a smartphone and tablet? In this case, to start, start the social network app you downloaded on your device, by pressing on its icon that you find on the home screen and / or in the drawer, then log in to your account, if required.
Once this is done, go to your screen profile, which you can reach by tapping onlittle man icon located in the menu below. Now, locate the post with photo published on your profile in which you have been tagged, then tap onicon (…) and, in the menu that is shown to you, presses on the item Remove the tag.
Alternatively, tap on the published photo, press on theicon (…) located in the upper right corner and, in the menu that is shown to you, tap on the item Remove tag.
Another solution that you can put in place to remove the tag from a Facebook photo is to act through the section Your Facebook Photos, which contains all the images you have published on the social network and those in which you have been tagged.
Having said that, to succeed, presses on the voice Photo located in your profile, then click on the tab Photo where you are, to see the photos in which there is the tag. Now, to remove it, press onicon (…), at the top right, and then tap on the item Remove tag, to remove it.
If you prefer to remove the tag from a Facebook photo from your computer, connect to the well-known photographic social network, and log in to your account or, if you prefer, you can use theFacebook application for Windows 10 available on Microsoft Store.
That said, to get started, go to your profile screen Facebook, then locate the post in which you have been tagged in a photo and click on it to see it. Now, tap on the item Options, located at the bottom, and remove the tag by pressing on Remove Tag.
If you are using the Facebook for Windows 10, you can remove the tag even faster by clicking on theicon (…) placed at the top right and then pressing on the wording Remove tag.
To individually remove the tag from the photos, acting through the Facebook media gallery, instead, click on the item Photo in your profile section and then click on the tab Photos in which you are. Then locate the photo you want to untag and click on it. Finally, click on the wording Options located at the bottom and confirm the removal of the tag by pressing on the item Remove tag.
How to get out of all Facebook photos
Would you like to remove the tag from all Facebook photos in which your friends have tagged you at the same time? In this case, proceed by following the instructions I am about to give you in the next paragraphs, in order to succeed in using the Facebook post management tool.
From smartphones and tablets
To check the posts and photos in which you have been tagged by acting as a smartphone, and possibly remove more than one simultaneously, log in to Facebook, through the app you downloaded on your device Android, iOS/iPadOS.
Now, tap on the item Manage posts, located in the section of your profile (the little man icon) and, in the new screen that is shown to you, put the check mark on all the photos from which you want to remove the tag. To locate them more easily, press on the item Filters and activate the option named Posts tagged.
After selecting the photos, press the button Forward and confirm the removal of the tag by clicking on the item Remove tag.
You can remove the tag from multiple Facebook photos at the same time, even from a computer. To do this, connect to Facebook and reach your profile screen, then click on the item Manage posts.
Now, put the check mark on the wording Show only posts where they’ve tagged me, then select all the posts from which you want to remove the tag from the photos (a maximum of 50 photos can be selected) and press the button Forward.
How not to get tagged on Facebook
Would you like to avoid having to manually remove tags from Facebook photos every time and, for this reason, you wonder if there is a preventive solution to avoid being tagged in the photos and posts that your friends publish on the well-known photo social network? The functionality in question, available through the app Facebook for smartphones and tablets, but also from its official website, it allows you to preventively block all tags, which will not be automatically published on your Facebook profile, but must be subject to preliminary verification.
