How to write an effective post on Facebook: Despite being enrolled in Facebook for some time, you think you do not yet know how to use this famous social network at its best: you are not referring to the mere technical operations necessary to share content on your personal profile or on your company page, but precisely to the form and content to post. If that’s the case, know that you’ve come to the right place at the right time!
In the next paragraphs, in fact, I will have the opportunity to explain to you how to write an effective post on Facebook thanks to some tricks that will surely be useful for communicating with your followers and increasing the number of likes on the content you publish. I assure you that to succeed you do not necessarily have to be a social media marketing expert: it is possible to obtain good results by following techniques that are very simple to implement but at the same time very effective.

Very well: make yourself comfortable, take all the time you need to concentrate on reading the next few paragraphs and, more importantly, try to put into practice all the suggestions that I will give you. Use the right tone
Use the right tone is the first step to succeeding write an effective post on Facebook. Each social network, in fact, has its own “rules” and Facebook is no exception. Unlike other platforms (e.g. LinkedIn), the famous social network founded by Mark Zuckerberg is used by users of all kinds, not only professionals or insiders from the tech world and, for this reason, a language that is simple is recommended. , “Light” and understandable to all … after all it is still a post on Facebook, not an essay!
Try, therefore, to avoid too formal and / or constructed expressions: it is much better to use friendly, colloquial and “young” language. Above all, try not to be a “keyboard lion” by venting all your anger or frustration towards people or events: the people who follow you may be annoyed and decide to remove you from their list of friends (if you wrote the post on your personal profile) or remove the “Like” from your page (if you wrote the post on your page). These are not the results you want to achieve, right?
If you are still undecided about the type of approach to use on Facebook, think for a moment on the audience you are about to address and the purpose you want to achieve with the post. Are you writing a post specifically aimed at a male or female audience? Is the post aimed at a young or “mature” audience? Invite the user to take actions it is of fundamental importance to create successful posts, especially with regard to those published on a Facebook page. Using the call-to-action, or calls to action, you can take advantage of the popularity you have on the social network to increase the number of visitors to your website or your customers.
How could you properly use calls-to-action? Maybe you could use phrases like “If you want to know how… visit my website“,”For more information, visit my official website …” or “If you are interested, go to our office immediately!” or “Come and visit us to find out more about …“.
Write correctly it is also important on Facebook: if you publish an “ungrammatical” post, full of spelling and syntactic errors, this will hardly be effective, indeed … you risk making a bad impression!
Therefore, before publishing content, make sure it is grammatically correct and does not contain spelling or syntax errors. Use the right hashtags
Also use the right hashtags it’s important to make Facebook posts that are effective. Hashtags, i.e. those words and phrases preceded by the hashtag symbol (#), are used to “label” the contents published on social networks and using them in the correct way can contribute to (potentially) increasing their visibility.
Using hashtags on Facebook is very simple: you simply have to start creating a new post, type the symbol # on the keyboard and write the word or the phrase that you want to use to categorize the content (e.g. the title of an event, the name of a company, the name of a competition, a term that describes the content posted, etc.).
Let’s say you want to write a post by publishing the sentence I love playing chess!. Maybe you could insert hashtags inside the sentence, using the terms present in the same (eg. #chess), and add some other suitable ones at the end of the latter (e.g. #play, #chess, etc.). By doing so, you would get a final result like this: I love playing chess! #chess #play #chess. Simple, right?
In using hashtags, I invite you to don’t put too many in posts, but only those that you think are actually useful and relevant to the published content. To find the most popular and relevant hashtags to your content, you can use services such as TopHashtag And Hashtagfy: both are free and allow you to easily identify the most popular and suitable hashtags for your posts.

Shorten the links
When you enter a link on Facebook, be sure to shorten it to avoid publishing kilometer-long URLs that would be unsightly. To shorten a link, you can take advantage of multiple services suitable for the purpose, such as Urly.
To use it, connect to his main page, paste the URL of your interest in the text field Paste a long URL here and press the button Shorten. At this point, all you have to do is copy the shortened URL and paste it into the post to be published on Facebook.

To check the statistics of your Facebook page, all you have to do is access it from the Facebook app for Android/iOS or his own web version and select the tab Insights (on the mobile version of Facebook it is the one depicting the icon of graphic).
In the screen displayed, you will be able to access a whole series of data and statistics that could be useful for establishing your next social strategies: the actions on the page, the views, the interactions received and so on. From these data you can therefore deduce which content your users like the most and, consequently, which are the next posts to write to capture their attention.
