First, however, it will be useful to know that after making the first connection to your Apple device, the AirPods will automatically be connected to all the other devices associated with your Apple ID, without having to repeat the first configuration procedure.

How to turn up AirPods volume with Siri
Use Siri is the simplest solution to turn up the volume of the AirPods. By doing so, it is possible to increase and decrease the audio of your device through voice commands without directly acting on the device in use, as long as you activate Siri on your device.
In fact, as you well know, the AirPods allow you to configure “touch” commands that allow you to answer phone calls, switch from one song to another or, in fact, call Siri to perform operations using your voice, such as playing music, starting call, set timers and alarms, and even turn up the volume on your Apple device.
By default, with 2nd generation AirPods, you can invoke Siri by saying the command “Hey Siri” while with 1st generation AirPods it is necessary to double tap on a headset to use Apple’s voice assistant.
However, by accessing the Settings of the AirPods, you can customize the commands to perform when you double-tap each AirPod. If you have a iPhone or a iPadfirst make sure you have connected the AirPods to your device, then press the icon of gear wheel to access the Settings of iOS, tap on the option Bluetooth and, in the new screen displayed, press the icon of (the) related to your AirPods (visible in the section My devices).
Now, locate the section Double tap AirPodschoose one of the options available from Left And right to change the headset controls that interest you and make sure at least one AirPod is set to the option Siri to be able to use Apple’s voice assistant.
If, on the other hand, you prefer to change the settings of the AirPods from your own Macclick on the icon gear wheel to access the Settings macOS, click on the option Bluetooth and make sure you have connected the AirPods. Once you’ve made sure you’ve set up your AirPods’ controls correctly, you’re ready to turn up the volume via Apple’s voice assistant. All you have to do is call up Siri by saying the command “Hey Siri” or doing a double tap on the headset that you previously paired with Siri.
Then say the command “Turn up the volume” to increase the volume of your device and that’s it. It will be useful to know that you can also indicate how much to raise the audio by saying commands such as “Set the volume to 50%” or “Turn up volume to maximum” (in the latter case Siri will ask for confirmation). How to turn up AirPods volume manually
If you’ve decided to turn off Siri on your device, you can turn up the volume manually using the appropriate buttons on your device.
To increase the volume of the AirPods in use on yours iPhone / iPadyou can just press the key Volume up located on the left side edge of the device. Alternatively, you can also turn up the volume by calling up the Control centerby accessing the Settings of iOS or by operating the slider relative to the volume of the app in use. If, on the other hand, you’re using AirPods with yours Macyou can manually raise the volume by pressing the button F12 from the keyboard. Alternatively, click the del icon megaphone present in the menu bar and move the cursor under the item to the right Volume.
If you don’t see the volume control option in your Mac’s menu bar, go to System Preferences by pressing on the icon gear wheel visible in the Dock bar, select the option Audio and move the cursor next to the item Output volume to turn the volume up and down.
If you use a Windows PCinstead, it recalls the volume control panel and act from there or press i volume keys on the keyboard, while the AirPods are connected to the computer.
You are wondering how to turn up the volume of AirPods with Apple Watch without using Siri? In that case, if you have music playing, all you have to do is rotate the Digital Crown (the wheel on the right) or press the icon megaphone visible on the device screen and tap the button +. Alternatively, you can act from Settings watchOS or use your iPhone’s Apple Watch app.
How to turn up AirPods volume on Android
If you don’t have an iPhone or iPad and would like to know how to turn up the volume of AirPods on Androidit will be useful to know that even in this case you can proceed either via voice commands or manually.
In the first case, all you have to do is say the command “OK Google” to call up the Google voice assistant and, subsequently, ask to turn up the volume using the commands “Turn up the volume”, “Increase volume to 50%” or “Turn up volume to maximum”. If you prefer to turn up the volume of the AirPods manually, grab your Android device, press the button Volume up (the button at the top on the left side edge of the device) and tap on the icon of arrow pointing down pop-up on the screen.
