If you don’t have one yet, you’ll have to create it, otherwise you won’t be able to follow the directions I’m about to give you. When creating the event to be sponsored on Facebook, you will then have to choose the page you created as its organizer, which assumes that the event is public and not private (so anyone can view it and decide to participate). Let’s see first how to sponsor an event on Facebook from smartphones and tablets. To do this, you need to log into your Facebook account, create the event to advertise and then activate the paid sponsorship.

Therefore, log in to Facebook through the official app of the social network for Android or iOS, presses the button (≡) located at the top right (on Android) or bottom right (on iOS) and, in the screen that opens, tap on the wording Events.

Now, press on the blue button (+) located at the bottom right (on Android) or on the button (+) Create which is on the left (on iOS) and create a public event. On Android, then tap the button (▾), located at the top left, and select the option Public event; on iOSinstead, select the item Create a public event.

Now, tap the button Add photos (on Android) or the icon of the camera (on iOS) and select the cover photo of the event you want to set. Pigia, then, on the menu Manager and select the page of your interest by tapping on first name of the latter (under the heading Your Pages).

In the text field Event name / Event title, indicate the name you intend to give to the event and provide all the other details of the event indicating, through the appropriate text fields and menus, the place and theNow where it will be held; enter any ticket links, i details related to the event itself and so on. When you’re ready to do it, then tap the button Publish or Create, to share it.

At this point you can finally sponsor the event you just created: to do so, press the button (≡), tap on page name that you have indicated as the organizer of the event and click on the button Page located at the top. Then scroll the displayed screen, locate the box relating to the event you wish to sponsor and tap the button Highlight the event.

In the screen that opens, choose the public to show sponsorship of the event (eg. People who like your Page, Teenager, People you choose by targeting, etc.) and indicates the overall budget that you intend to spend and the duration sponsorship.

Then, press the button Add payment method and follow the instructions that appear on the screen to select the payment method that you prefer to use to finance the campaign (eg. credit / debit card, Bank account or PayPal). Finally, tap the button Promote event and follow any instructions that appear on the screen to complete the procedure.

I remind you that the post concerning the event you have chosen to promote will be characterized by the presence of the writing Sponsored, which indicates that you paid Facebook to show it to a wider audience.

You prefer sponsor an event on Facebook acting from computer? Well, then know that the steps to follow are very similar to the ones I showed you in previous chapter dedicated to smartphones and tablets. Even in this case, in fact, you must first create a public event, taking care to set your own page as organizer, and then highlight the post.

To proceed, log in to Facebook via his web version or, if you prefer, yours application for Windows 10), then click the button Create located at the top of the page (on the top bar of the social network) and, in the menu that opens, select the item Event.

Now, open the menu located at the top of the event creation box (which should have appeared on the screen in the meantime) and select the option Public event. Then open the menu located in correspondence with the wording Event organizer and select the page name through which you want to create the event.

Subsequently, choose a theme among the predefined ones or upload a photo or video, in order to create the cover of the event. Then complete the form by providing, in the appropriate text fields, the event name, the place in which it will be held, the Description, the date, L’Now, etc. When you are ready to do so, then click on the button Create, bottom right, to publish the event.

After creating the event, you need to sponsor it: to do so, click on the button (▾) located in the upper right corner (on the top bar of Facebook) and click on page name that you have indicated as the organizer of the event itself (it is found under the heading Your Pages). Scroll down the displayed page, locate the post related to the event you intend to sponsor and click on the button Highlight the event located in the lower right corner of the latter’s box.

Now, in the box that appears in the center of the page, define the details of the sponsorship: in the field Text, provide more information about the event you are promoting; via section Public define the audience you intend to target the campaign to (eg. People you choose by targeting, People who like your Page, People who like your Page and their friends, etc.) and in the section Duration and budget, define the duration of the advertising campaign and the budget you intend to spend to reach more people.

At this point, click on the blue button Highlight, located at the bottom right, select the payment method that you intend to use to finance the sponsorship (eg. Credit or debit card, PayPal or Bank account), click on the button Keep it going and follow the instructions that appear on the screen to complete the procedure.

I remind you that the post related to the event you have decided to advertise will be marked with the writing Sponsored, indicating that you paid Facebook to show it to a wider audience.
