How to sign in to Skype with another account: You have two accounts of Skype, one for personal contacts and one for professional purposes, and would you like to be able to use them at the same time on the same computer? You are in a large company, however, know that both operations can be done in an extremely simple way. All you have to do is take five minutes of free time and follow the directions I am about to give you. If you want to know sign in to Skype with another account to use two Skype profiles at the same time on Windowsthe first step you have to take is to start the program normally and log in to it using the data of the first account you intend to use.
At this point, call up the tool Run … pressing the key combination Win + R on the PC keyboard and give the command “C: Program Files (x86) SkypePhoneSkype.exe” / secondary to launch a second instance of Skype with which you will be able to log in using the credentials of another account. As a workaround, you can also create a desktop shortcut that automatically points to a second instance of Skype. Just right click anywhere on the desktop without icons and select the item New> Link from the menu that appears. In the window that opens, paste the path “C: Program FilesSkypePhoneSkype.exe” / secondary in the field where to specify the destination of the link and first click on Forward and then on end to complete the procedure.
If you don’t want to keep two Skype instances open at the same time but want to log out of one account to log into the other, select the item Go out from the menu Skype of the program and log in with the data of the other profile.
For sign in to Skype with another account on Mac, the procedure to follow is as simple as the one we have just seen for PCs equipped with Windows. The first instance of the application should start normally, then launch Skype via its icon located in the OS X Launchpad and log in to the service using the credentials of one of your accounts.
Next, you need to launch the Terminal (located in the Other OS X Launchpad) and give the command sudo /Applications/Skype.app/Contents/MacOS/Skype / secondary. At this point, type the password of your user account on the Mac, press the key Enter on your keyboard and another instance of Skype will start. Log into the service with your second account and that’s it.
If you do not want to keep two Skype instances open at the same time but you simply want to disconnect from your primary profile to log in with another profile, select the item Disconnect from the menu File of the program and log in with your second account.
