How to find out who visits your Facebook profile

Before explaining what solutions you can put in place to know how to see who visits your Facebook profile, I have to make some important premises necessary for a better understanding of the subject.

In fact, you must know that it is not possible to know, precisely, who visits your Facebook profile. However, there are several “tricks” to at least be able to guess this.

First, consider that if a person is on your list friends, will certainly be able to view all the content you post, unless you have set some restrictions on the privacy side.

In the face of this, if you ask yourself if there is aapplication to see who visits your Facebook profile you must know that the answer is no. In fact, even if until recently there were browser extensions or apps that promised to find out, these are to be considered scams or even malware that disrespect users’ privacy.

Therefore, in the event that you make use of these solutions and have connected them to your account, I suggest you remove them, deactivating the relative access permissions to your account. To do this, go to the menu Settings> Settings and privacy> Apps and websites Facebook from app or site and press the button Remove twice in a row.

Once this is done, let’s move on to the “live” of this guide and see how to use some native Facebook features that, if used with a little cunning and knowledge of the facts, can help you guess who visits your Facebook profile.

See who follows you

Facebook follower

Having said that, the first information you can look at to deduce who visits your Facebook profile is that relating to who follows your updates within the social network. In fact, it is likely that those who have activated this feature frequently visit your profile.

I remind you that you can see who visits your Facebook profile from their mobile using both the Facebook app for Android (also downloadable from alternative stores) e iOS / iPadOS (downloadable fromApp Store), or acting from PC, through official site of the social network or his Windows application.

In the first case, after logging into your account, if necessary, press on yours profile picture and then tap on the wording Follower, to see the list of people following your updates.

Acting from PCinstead, click on yours profile picture that you can see at the top of the Facebook bar and then press on the menu item Friends which is present under your cover image. Finally, in the section relating to yours friends, then tap on the item Other and, in the drop-down menu displayed, click on the wording Follower.

In case of doubts or problems, or for more information about it, read my tutorial in which I explain how to see who follows you on Facebook.

See who is online

See who is online

To find out who visits your Facebook profile, you can see who among your friends is online and, therefore, could see the content you post at a given moment.

If you want to see who is online on Facebook, you must necessarily activate it Status of activity, as this tool has a reciprocity constraint: you must be online on Facebook yourself to see who is currently connected within the social network.

You can succeed by acting as a smartphone and tablet or from PC. In the first case, launch the app Messenger on Android (also downloadable from alternative stores) or iOS / iPadOS (downloadable fromApp Store), press on yours profile picture and then on the voice Status of activity. Finally, move up ON the appropriate lever, to confirm the operation.

If, on the other hand, you intend to proceed from PC, tap on the icon (…) in correspondence with the item Contacts which is located in the right sidebar of Facebook and, in the menu that is shown to you, click on the item Activate the activity state.

With this feature active you can view the list of people who are online within the social network in the Messenger app and in the Web version or in the Windows application of Facebook, which will be marked with a green dot.

Another procedure you can take to guess who is viewing your Facebook profile is to find out who views your messages in Messenger chat.

Therefore, launch the app in question and, on the screen Chat, tap on conversation of your interest, to view it. If, on the other hand, you intend to act from PC, open the chat of Messenger by clicking on its icon located in the top bar of Facebook, in order to view the conversation with the user of your interest.

If the person in question has viewed your message, you will be able to see a small one icon with his profile picture, in correspondence with the message itself. Furthermore, acting from PC, if you move the mouse to that icon, you can also know the day and theNow where that message was displayed.

If you have any doubts or problems, please refer to my tutorial on how to tell if someone ignores messages on Messenger.

See who interacts with your posts

See likes Facebook

In addition to the previously mentioned solutions, you can know with greater certainty who visits your Facebook profile based on the people who interact with your posts.

Indeed, if such user put I like or use another of the reactions of Facebook, or if they comment, it’s pretty clear that they’ve seen your profile and related content you post.

Therefore, all you have to do is start the Facebook app (if you intend to proceed from your smartphone / tablet) or connect to the social network via its website or its application for Windows, if you want to act as a PC.
