Also, by pressing on the item App limits, you can set limits for the apps, in order to block the use of one or more applications after a customizable usage time.

All applied restrictions can be removed at any time by moving to OFF the lever located in correspondence with the wording Screen duration management.

Third Party Applications

Digitox

If you own a smartphone Huawei not upgradeable to EMUI 10, to see the time of use of the same you have to contact a third-party app.

Among the many available, I recommend you Digitox: a free app, with advertising banners, which is characterized by its simplified user interface and in Italian. The app allows you to view the usage statistics of your smartphone and also offers the possibility to set limits for the use of the device or applications.

To use it, first connect to the Play Store and download it by pressing the button Install. If you have a device without Google services, you can download the app through alternative stores.

Once this is done, start the application by pressing on its icon that you will find added to the home screen and / or to the drawer of your device and press the button Settings, on its main screen, to allow Digitox access to usage data by moving to ON the lever that will be shown to you at the wording Allow access use.

In this way, you will be shown the main screen of the application (theicon with graph symbol) through which you can monitor the usage time of your smartphone for today (today) to the previous one (yesterday) and in relation to last 7 days (you will clearly see these data populate using your smartphone after installing the app).

If, on the other hand, you want to set an application usage limit, press thecrossed out circle icon and then tap the button (+), to select the app to restrict. Once this is done, after indicating the maximum usage time, confirm the operation by pressing the button Set to. You didn’t think it would be that easy, did you?
