As I mentioned in the introduction of the article, the Messenger app for Android it does not allow you to see message requests and, therefore, you cannot use it to achieve your purpose. To view Messenger’s “hidden” messages, you must use the Facebook site.
Therefore, open the browser you usually use to surf the Internet from your smartphone or tablet (eg. Chrome), type the address m.facebook.com in the address bar located at the top, come on Enter and log into your Facebook account if necessary.
At this point, even if you have to use the mobile version of the Facebook site, you must activate the desktop view, in order to avoid opening the Messenger app when you go to press the message icon within the social network. In Chrome you can do this by pressing on the symbol of three dots at the top right and placing the check mark on the box Desktop site.
On the page that opens, then tap on the icon Messenger (the comic with the lightning bolt inside) and select the link View message requests, to view the message requests. Alternatively, you can press on View filtered messages or View spam messages, to view filtered and spam messages.
I remind you that you can see the requests for messages on Messenger by also acting from Messenger.com. To do this, connect to This Page and log into your account (if necessary). In case you should see the page that invites you to download the Messenger app, activate the display of the site in desktop mode, as explained above.
How to see message requests on iPhone Messenger
Not even the Messenger app for iPhone and iPad allows you to see the message requests and, therefore, also on iOS you have to proceed through the Facebook site. Therefore, open the browser you usually use to surf the Internet from your “iPhone by” (eg. Safari), type the address m.facebook.com in the address bar located at the top and log in to your Facebook account, if necessary.
At this point, to prevent the Messenger app from opening automatically by pressing the message icon, you must view the Facebook site in desktop mode. Therefore, make a prolonged tap on the circular arrow present in the Safari address bar and press the button Request desktop site which appears below.
At this point, tap on the icon Messenger (the cartoon with the lightning bolt inside) located at the top and select the link View message requests, to view the message requests. Alternatively, tap on the items View filtered messages And View spam messages, to view filtered and spam messages.

How to see message requests on Messenger computer
