How to revoke friendship on Facebook: You have begun to use Facebook only recently (maybe just after reading my guide on how to sign up for Facebook) and, taken by the frenzy of this very popular social network, you ended up indiscriminately accepting all the friend requests that came to you. But now you regret it, you would therefore like to make a “skimming” of those who are your real friends but you do not know how to act.

You really need to know how to revoke friendship on Facebook, and I’m here today to explain how to do it. I assure you that it is a very fast and “painless” practice. You can therefore get rid of friendships accepted too lightly without excessive waste of time, but I recommend: from now on, do not accept (or request) friendships just to increase the counter on your profile page. You could avoid a lot of hassle, problems and unnecessary waste of time.

If you want to learn how to revoke friendship on Facebook, the first step you need to take is to connect to the Facebook home page and, if you have not already done so, log in to your account on the social network. At this point, click on your photo located at the top left to access your profile page and click on the box Friends placed under the cover. A screen will open with the photos and names of all the people you have added to your Facebook friends.

To remove the friendship with a particular person, hover the mouse pointer over the button Friends placed next to his photo and select the entry remove from your friends from the list that appears. Then confirm the operation by clicking on the button remove from your friends And that’s it.

Another way to unsubscribe from someone on Facebook is to search for them in the search bar above and click on their name in the search results. Next, you need to place the mouse pointer over the button Friends, select the item remove from your friends from the menu that appears and confirm the operation by clicking on the button remove from your friends.

In case you wanted to revoke friendship on Facebook because a person included among your contacts has behaved incorrectly, insulting you or posting spam messages in your diary, I advise you not to limit yourself to removing the friendship as seen above but to report the user to the managers of the social network .

To do this, connected to the profile page of the person you want to report, click on thegear located next to the button Message and select the item Report / block from the menu that opens. Then put the check mark next to the items Send a report and Report the account [nome della persona] and click on the button Confirmation.

At this point, put the check mark next to the item This person bothers me and select one of the options available on the reason why you want to report the user (eg. Post annoying content), then click on the button Keep it going to complete your report. More information can be found in my guide on how to report a person on Facebook.
