Well, now we can get started. Grab your smartphone and open the Settings app , easily recognizable by the gear icon. Among the various items present, tap on the System item and then on the Restore Options item . Now all you have to do is tap on the Delete all data item and again on the Delete all data button . To confirm the operation, enter your PIN, sign or fingerprint.

This procedure is valid for most devices, but on some it may vary slightly, due to the customizations of the various brands. For example, in the case of Samsung, tap on the Settings app , then on the item General management and on Reset . To reset, tap on Restore factory data and confirm the operation by entering the PIN, the sign or via biometric authentication.

In a few seconds the smartphone will restart and the data erasing process will begin. After a few minutes the smartphone will restart again and you will find yourself in front of the device setup screen, as when you bought it for the first time.
