How to report a group on Facebook: Browsing on Facebook, have you come across groups that violate the rules of the social network by proposing content that is offensive to you or a certain group of people? You absolutely must report them to the site managers who, once their malicious nature has been ascertained, will block and remove these groups from Facebook.
How? Obviously you have never noticed it but in all the pages of the Facebook groups there is a function that allows you to report the group you are visiting for the reasons mentioned above. Follow the directions on how to report a group on Facebook that I am about to give you and you will help the managers of the social network to eliminate content that is offensive to others.
If you want to learn how to report a group on Facebook, know that all you have to do is connect to Facebook and go to the page of the group to report. If you don’t remember the name of the group well or you have not saved the direct link to its page, you can easily search for it through the search bar of the social network. To limit the search results to groups, click on the item Groups located in the left sidebar.
Once you have identified the right group, access its page, click on the button with the icon of thegear located at the top right and select the item Report group from the menu that appears. A box will open with the reasons for sending the report to Facebook managers.
For example, if the group you want to report praises hatred towards a certain group of people, you can put the check mark next to the item Speeches containing hate, select the item from the drop-down menu Attack a race or ethnicity and click on the button Keep it going. Then put the check mark next to the item Report to Facebook and click again on Keep it going to send your report.
If the group you have reported will receive other reports from users of Facebook, will probably arouse the attention of those responsible for the social network and will be closed for violating the rules of the service.
Remember that in addition to report a group on Facebook because it is a harbinger of offensive content for you or the community, you can also report a person to Facebook by acting individually against friends (or suspected ones) who bother you or pretend to be people who are not really. You can find everything explained in detail in the guide I prepared some time ago on the subject.
I also recommend that you read my guide on how to report abuse on Facebook, in order to prevent and combat all the problems that you may encounter in your business on the most famous social network in the world.
