How to read an eBook on iPad
If you want to learn how to read eBooks on iPad , all you have to do is turn to Books , the application created directly by Apple – previously known as iBooks – and present “standard” on all iPad models (if removed, it can be downloaded again from the relevant section of the App Store ) which allows you to read e-books in various formats (such as ePub), organize your eBook library and easily purchase and / or download new books from the dedicated store.
To use it, the first fundamental step you need to take is to take your Apple tablet, unlock it, access the home screen and tap on the application icon (the one with the orange background and the open white book ).
Once the main screen of the app is displayed, if you want to buy books to read directly from the Apple store, select the Book Store item at the bottom and identify the books of your interest by consulting the various sections available and / or categories . If, on the other hand, you want to search by keyword, tap the Search item located at the bottom right and type the title of the book or the name of the author in the appropriate field.
Once you have identified the eBook, go ahead with its purchase and / or download, by tapping first on the cover of the book, then on the button with the price or on the Download button (depending on whether the eBook you have chosen is a payment or free) and then on the Get button . Finally, authorize the operation via Face ID , Touch ID or Apple ID password .
If, on the other hand, you already have eBooks that you want to read on your iPad, you need to import them into the Books app: to do this, go to the location where the eBook is located (via the Files app or another file manager ) or open the application in which the file is saved, then tap on the book of your interest.
By doing this, your eBook should automatically be imported into the Books app. If this is not the case, first select the icon for sharing (the one with the square and the arrow ) visible on the display and then tap on Copy to Books or Open to Books , present in the menu that opens.
If the eBooks to be imported are on your computer, however, to be able to transfer them to your iPad you can follow the instructions I have provided you in my tutorial focused specifically on how to transfer files to iPad.
