How to print labels: You need to print some labels for some packages to be sent or some binders that you have in your office but don’t want to spend money to buy an ad hoc printer? No problem. If you have a Windows PC and a few sheets of sticky paper, you can get your labels using any standard printer.

All you need to do is turn to Avery DesignPro Light, a free program that allows you to create and print labels of all kinds in an extremely simple way. When the download is complete, double-click on it to open the file you just downloaded (eg. For print labels with Avery DesignPro Lightall you have to do is start the program through its link in the Windows Start menu and start the creation of a new project by clicking on the White sheet located at the top left.

In the window that opens, select the kind of label you want to create (eg. Labels for identification, Multimedia labelsetc.) from the drop-down menu Formatselect the specific type of label to print (eg. Mini address labels) from the box below and click on the button OK to bring your label to life.

At this point, you have to use the buttons available in the program toolbar (the left sidebar) to create the basic template of your label and decide the number of labels to make / print. To customize your labels you can choose to insert in them images, texts, geometric shapes, barcodes and other items available in the Avery DesignPro Light toolbar.

Once the basic model has been created, you can set the number of labels to print by clicking on the icon White sheet present in the software status bar, next to the tabs Matrix and Label 1. Each time you click on that icon a new label will be created to print.

To modify the created labels individually and add different details to them than those present in the original template (e.g. addresses or titles of movies, games, etc.), select the tabs Label 1, Label 2, Label 3, etc. from the status bar of Avery DesignPro Light and proceed with the changes using the same procedure seen before for the “matrix”.

When the operation is completed, click on the button Press present in the toolbar of the program and start printing your labels on a sheet of adhesive paper. Easier done than said!
