The latter, however, must be connected to the PC via cable or through the official wireless adapter.
Unfortunately the PlayStation 3 controller, although some users have managed to make it compatible via an emulator (a practice that I do not recommend, as it could lead to problems with your account). Speaking of controllers made by third partson the other hand, it is very difficult to say for sure if a model is compatible or not. In fact, there are countless types of controllers on the market and the only method to understand if Fortnite supports them is to connect them to the PC on which the game is running. In general, however, controllers that use the same key scheme as those for PS4, Xbox One and Xbox 360 are compatible.

Play Fortnite on PC with other controllers
The market is chock full of computer controllers made by companies that have nothing to do with Sony or Microsoft. Usually the pads of the most famous producers, such as Logitech is Thrustmaster, are compatible with Fortnite, but this is not always said. In fact, each model is different and the fact that Epic Games has not provided official information related to compatible controllers does not help.
My advice is, therefore, to go to one of the console controller described in the previous chapters, which can also be purchased individually. If, however, you already have a PC pad, I suggest you simply try a plug it in and start Fortnite. If you don’t want to know how to work, try to unplug and reattach the cable after the game has started.
In the case of incompatible controllers, some users have decided to use emulators that can make pads that are not compatible, but I advise against using this method, since there may be problems with the Epic Games account.
If it can help, I tried the Goourc controller (it’s now called GARY & GHOST), which is fully functional with Fortnite on PC and works with the same keys as the official Xbox 360 pad.
However, support for controllers produced by third-party companies is handled by Epic Games, which may decide not to make them more compatible through a normal software update. Therefore, I advise you to keep this in mind when you buy a controller.
