How to organize an event: Have you organized a party for your birthday or for the opening of a new business and would like to advertise the event? No need to pick up the phone to call friends anymore. Not to mention the advertising flyers and cards, stuff from the other century.
If you want to find out how to organize an event for good you have to rely on new technologies, on the Internet. You must know that there are many ways to promote an event on the Web and today I want to point out a couple of the most effective and hasty ones. Use them and it will take a second venue to welcome all the attendees to your party!
If you don’t know how to organize an event, you obviously don’t know how to use Facebook yet. In fact, the most famous social network in the world includes a function that allows you to create pages dedicated to special events (birthday parties, concerts, theatrical performances, inaugurations, etc.) and share them with your friends to know who will participate and who will not.
To create an event on Facebook, all you have to do is connect to the site and click on the item Events located in the left sidebar. On the page that opens, click on the button + Create event and fill out the form that is proposed to you by typing the title and description of the event, start / end date and venue in the appropriate fields.
When the operation is completed, click on the button Create to confirm the creation of the event and you will be automatically redirected to the newly created page. At this point, click on the button Invite friends (located at the top right), put the check mark next to the names of the friends you want to invite to the event and click on the button Send to deliver your virtual invitation. With a little trick, you can also select all Facebook friends in one go without having to select them one by one!
If you are not subscribed to Facebook, you can organize an event online also with ZeeYoo, a free service completely in Italian that allows you to invite all your friends to an event via email and to know who will participate and who will not in real time. If you want to try it, connect to the ZeeYoo website and click on the button Organize an event.
On the page that opens, put the check mark next to the item Business appointment or Private event (depending on the type of event you want to organize), fill in the form proposed by typing Name of the event And Description of the same and click on the button Forward. Then mark the day and time of the event using the mouse on the calendar in the center of the screen and click once again on Forward to continue creating the event.
At this point, put the check mark next to the item Manual sending by email or Sending e-mails through Zeeyoo depending on whether you want to invite your friends to the event by sending them a link manually or by leaving the site to automatically send the emails, fill in the fields with the contacts to send the invitations to at the bottom of the page, and click on the button Forward.
At this point, you need to create a free account on ZeeYoo by filling out the form that is proposed to you and click on the button Finish to send out the invitations. By visiting the link received via email, your friends will be able to respond to your invitation and let you know in real time whether they will be present at the event or not. You can check all the responses and details of your event whenever you want. Just connect to the main page of ZeeYoo. Easy, right?
