How to monetize a Facebook page: With the advent of the Internet and, more recently, of social networks, new ways have arisen to earn and grow your business. You too would like to try your hand at this world unknown to you and, in this case, you would like to know how to monetize a Facebook page. If this is actually the case, there is no doubt: you have come to the right place (indeed, in post right), at the right time!
In the next paragraphs, in fact, I will be able to show you some earning opportunities available on Facebook, such as affiliate programs and the opening of an online store, to be exploited by creating public pages on the social network. As you may already know, public pages differ from “personal” profiles for the type of tools and content available, among which those oriented to business and monetization stand out.
Clearly don’t expect miracles: just opening a Facebook page is not enough to start earning something. Earning on Facebook is an activity that requires a lot of time, a lot of effort and, needless to deny, even a little luck. That said, with some common sense tactics and rules, you should be able to get good results. Courage: take all the time you need to concentrate on reading this guide and, more importantly, try to put into practice the “tips” I will give you. There is nothing left for me to do, but wish you happy reading and wish you a big good luck for everything!
Ways to monetize a Facebook page
As I mentioned at the beginning of the post, there are several ways to monetize a Facebook page, including joining affiliate services or linking your page to an online store. Let me tell you about both solutions in detail.
Subscribe to gods affiliate services is one of the main ways to monetize a page on Facebook. Are you wondering how affiliate services work? It’s very simple: you sign up for an affiliate program organized by a company (eg. Amazon( in the case of Amazon it is between 1% and 12%), calculated on the purchase price of the product purchased by the user. It should be noted that affiliate links are valid for 24 hours from when they are clicked by a user (so the percentage is also recognized for purchases not made immediately after clicking on the link).
To create the sponsored links just go to the affiliate program registration page and register on it. To sign up for the Amazon affiliate program (which is aimed specifically at blog and website owners), for example, you need to connect to This Page and click on the button Log in, and then log into your Amazon account (if you don’t have one yet, you can create it right now).
Then press the button Sign up now for free and proceed with entering all the required data. On the screen Account information, provide your personal data, while in the section Your websites and mobile apps enter information about your website (you can also paste the URL of your Facebook page) and possibly your apps.
Then complete the registration by choosing a partnerID to identify your affiliation and providing all other information requested in the section Profile (e.g. what your websites are about, how do you direct traffic from your websites, etc.).
Once you’ve created your Amazon affiliate account, you can finally start creating sponsored links to post on your Facebook page. To do this, just click on the item Create product links present in the top menu and select one of the options that are shown to you in the menu that opens (eg. Product links to create links regarding a specific product; Link to any page on Amazon.it to create a direct link to specific Amazon pages, etc.).

Another way to make money with a Facebook page is to open a e-commerce and use the famous social network as a direct sales tool for the products on it. There are various services that allow you to do this in a rather simple way, such as the very famous Blooming (which I will talk about shortly), but I anticipate that these are not free: you have to pay a certain monthly fee to open the online store, the price of which varies according to the characteristics of the latter and the turnover generated .
If you want to use the aforementioned Blomming for this purpose, know that it is not at all difficult to open an online store. To do this, you have to subscribe to the service which, at the time of writing, offers two plans: the one from 9.99 euros / month + VAT which allows you to sell unlimited products by applying a commission of 5% on sales made, and that from 19.99 euros / month + VAT which, on the other hand, allows you to sell unlimited products by applying a 3% commission on sales.
To open an online store on Blooming, connect to his main page, click on the button Facebook Connect, log in with your Facebook account and start upload products on your online store by pressing the appropriate button located at the top. After uploading them, you must select the setting that allows you to sell them on Facebook and follow the instructions that are provided on the screen to choose the page in which to add the store and configure its features according to your needs.
If you want to deepen the subject and get more information on how to use Facebook to sell, I suggest you take a look at the guide that I linked to you, in which you can find more specific instructions on what to do.
Tips for monetizing a Facebook page
We conclude this guide with a series of tips for monetizing a Facebook page. I am convinced that by paying attention to the simple steps listed below, you will be able to achieve your goal of earning with Facebook with greater ease.
- Make the page more popular – if your page has few followers, you will hardly be able to earn through the solutions indicated in the previous chapters. That is why it is important that you work on the popularity of your page by trying to make it grow as much as possible. You can do this by regularly posting interesting, quality content and trying to engage your audience. Furthermore, the possibility of sponsoring the page should not be underestimated: since Facebook gives more visibility to private profiles and not to pages, advertising the contents of your page with paid campaigns has become essential to give it a minimum of visibility. For more information on how to have many “likes” on a Facebook page, on how to have a successful Facebook page and on how to sponsor on Facebook, consult the insights I have just linked to you.
- Avoid spam – do not spam sponsored links all the time, otherwise you risk to “tire” the users who follow your page, who could even abandon it by removing the “Like”. Instead, try to post a few sponsored links to recommend really interesting products and offers to your audience and don’t give in to the temptation to look only at your profits. Another important thing: do not advertise products that are off-topic with your page, otherwise you risk passing for an “online street vendor”. OK?
