How to make money on The Sims 4

Earning money within the fourth chapter of the series created by Will Wright is not that difficult, given the amount of possibilities offered by the title. Below are all the necessary indications to learn how to play checkers on the Internet .

Primary jobs to make money on The Sims 4

The Sims works

The Sims 4 is chock full of job opportunities that allow you to earn money (in particular Simoleon , or the virtual currency of the game). Primary jobs are what will get your Sim out of his home and keep him busy for many hours every day. The game implements both full-time and part-time jobs.

The full-time jobs featured in The Sims 4 are the ones that allow you to really make a career. There are many, here are some of them: Astronaut (traits: Active, Genius; skills: Exercise, Charisma, Logic), Painter (traits: Art Lover, Creative; skills: Painting, Charisma), Writer (traits : Creative, Bookworm; Skill: Writing, Charisma), Criminal (traits: Bad, Active; Skill: Programming, Charisma, Marachelle, Exercise), Secret Agent (traits: Geek, Active; Skill: Programming, Physical Exercise, Charisma), Entertainer(traits: Joker, Music Lover; skills: Comedy, Violin, Guitar), Cook (traits: Food Lover; skills: Cooking, Gourmet Cuisine, Cocktails) and Technology Guru (traits: Geek, Genius; skills: Video Games, Programming).

Full-time job The Sims 4

Each of these jobs has different characteristics and allows you to make a career and become the best in the sector. Often the game will require keeping a number of friends close during the “climb to success”, so remember not to lose too much contact with other Sims. In addition, it will be very important to train your Sim’s skills and choose a profession in line with his personality . For example, if you want to make your character a technology Guru , his distinctive traits must be  Geek and Genius , while the skills to be trained must be  Video Games andProgramming .

As for the most profitable full-time jobs , we can say that the careers that guarantee the most money are those of Militare (it takes the Strangerville expansion, at level 10 you earn over 3,000 Simoleons per day), Influencer of styles (included in the base game, at level 10 you get about 3,000 Simoleons per day) and Astronaut (included in the basic game, at level 10 you can get to 3,000 Simoleons per day). Furthermore, we must not forget that full-time jobs guarantee retirement and all the necessary conveniences (promotions and improvement of skills).

In short, my advice is to focus on this type of work, in order to correctly balance the life of your Sim over the long term. In The Sims 4 a character’s career is already chosen when creating a new game . All you have to do is simply answer the questions asked by the game in the correct way, which will then lead you to have a certain career for that Sim.

Once you have answered the “questionnaire”, simply press the book icon in the top left corner to view the Sim’s statistics. If you don’t want to answer the questionnaire, simply select the No thanks item at the beginning and manually choose the characteristics of the character.

The Sims 4 career

The initial choice is only an indication, but in reality everything can be changed during the course of one’s adventure. In particular, to start a career you just need to press on the suitcase icon on the bottom right and press the Start a career button .

In this way, your Sim will start to consult his smartphone for a few seconds and then a window will appear on the screen that will allow you to choose the career you want to start. At the bottom right you will find details on the initial hourly wages , working hours and working days .

You just have to press the tick icon to start your Sim’s career. Unfortunately, I cannot give you more information on the progress, given that each individual activity has unique characteristics. Despite this, I can assure you that The Sims 4 will guide you step by step to be able to make a career and earn the maximum possible.

In the aforementioned window, you will also find part-time jobs , marked with a double suitcase icon . These include: Baby sitter (from 07:00 to 13:00 or from 18:00 to 24:00, minimum 33 Simoleon per hour, maximum 48 Simoleon per hour, maximum bonus 192 Simoleon), Bartender (from 05 : 00 at 07:00, minimum 13 Simoleon per hour, maximum 25 Simoleon per hour, maximum bonus 289 Simoleon), Fast food employee (from 06:00 to 10:00 or from 17:00 to 21:00, minimum 14 Simoleon per hour, maximum 16 Simoleon per hour, maximum bonus 358 Simoleon), Manual Worker(07:00 to 12:00, minimum 45 Simoleon per hour, maximum 70 Simoleon per hour, maximum bonus 293 Simoleon), Retail Merchant (from 18:00 to 22:00, minimum 33 Simoleon per hour, maximum 48 Simoleon per hour, maximum bonus 244 Simoleon), Diver (from 17:00 to 20:00, minimum 45 Simoleon per hour, maximum 70 Simoleon per hour, non-monetary bonuses), Fisherman (from 05:00 to 09:00 or from 21:00 to 01:00, minimum 33 Simoleon per hour, maximum 48 Simoleon per hour, non-monetary bonuses) and Lifeguard(from 08:00 to 12:00 or from 17:00 to 21:00, minimum 33 Simoleon per hour, maximum 48 Simoleon per hour, non-monetary bonuses). Some of the listed part-time professions may not be available depending on the expansions purchased.

Part-time jobs The Sims 4

All part-time jobs do not guarantee retirement and have three possible “levels” depending on the experience acquired by the Sim in that specific activity. For example, the fast food operator starts as a table cleaner , then becomes an employee in the kitchen and, subsequently, reaches the maximum degree of cashier . In short, these jobs do not really allow you to make a career, but they can guarantee your character a certain amount of money available and more free time. My advice is to have your Sim do part-time jobs only in the early stages of the game.

I remind you that The Sims 4 is a game in constant evolution and therefore the developers could change the dynamics of the title at any moment. I therefore invite you to take the information in this tutorial as purely indicative.

Secondary jobs to make money on The Sims 4

The Sims 4 chores

The Sims 4 also features extra activities , which allow you to earn some extra money by keeping the Sim at home. These activities are available from the Life on the Island expansion .

To start these extra jobs, simply press on the mobile phone icon at the bottom left and select the Search for jobs item . The various activities will appear here and you will simply have to choose the one you like best. Unfortunately, I cannot advise you which ones to carry out, since they vary continuously and it is difficult to predict which ones will happen to you. I invite you, however, to read the assignments well, since already from the description you can understand more or less the levels of  difficulty and  remuneration .

Usually job offers vary daily and are available in the hours from 08:00 to 20:00 . This way, you can choose when to work and let your Sim enjoy some relaxation.

Tricks to make money on The Sims 4

Cheats Simeleon The Sims 4

How do you say? You don’t have the time to make a career on The Sims 4 but would you still like to have a lot of money available? No problem, I’ll explain how to do it right away!

To get a large number of Simeleons, just press the key combination Ctrl + Shift + C , type the word motherlode and press Enter . You will see that 50,000 Simeleons will be added to your account. If you want to get 1,000 Simeleons instead , you can type rosebud or kaching . These tricks can be used multiple times.

This method is recommended by Electronic Arts itself on its official website , so it is also well seen by developers. For more details on the tricks, I suggest you take a look at my guides on how to have infinite money on The Sims and on how to activate the tricks on The Sims .

How to make money on The Sims Mobile

The Sims Mobile

The Sims Mobile is a title in the series created by Will Wright designed for smartphones and tablets. As such, the game therefore has fewer possibilities than a traditional chapter like The Sims 4. Just to give you an example, there are no tricks that can make you earn a lot of money (which in this case are called SimCash ).

In any case, it is possible to make a career and get a good amount of money by implementing some simple tricks. The easiest way to speed up your character’s actions is to take advantage of the microtransactions within the title, but I understand that not everyone wants to spend real money.

My advice is, therefore, to simply play the title and follow the progress of the adventure . In fact, as happens in many games for smartphones and tablets, The Sims Mobile guides the player towards a specific path. In particular, at the beginning of the adventure it is possible to choose only between a few careers. To become a bartender , for example, you have to go to the green area , while to become a cook , a model or a doctor , you have to go to the market square . The career of DJ is unlocked at level 23 , while those of Judge andBusinessman can be achieved starting at level 15 .

To start a career, just enter a workplace (e.g. bar), press on the work station and tap on the Join now item  . At this point, you can start choosing your story and plan your Sim’s career. If you do not know how to reach a certain job, you can press on the three dots icon and follow the path Career> See careers> Visit the club .

For more information on career opportunities in The Sims Mobile, I recommend taking a look at EA’s official guidelines and information related to microtransactions . How to make money on The Sims FreePlay

The Sims FreePlay

The Sims FreePlay is another title for smartphones and tablets in the series distributed by Electronic Arts. As for the earning possibilities, the situation is very similar to that described for The Sims Mobile.

In fact, there are no tricks that can guarantee unlimited money. Or rather, the community had found a method that allowed you to cheat by changing the date of the smartphone , but later the developers realized it and limited this possibility. My advice is therefore to give up these methods, since they are not well seen.

In short, the only thing I can tell you is: enjoy The Sims FreePlay in the way it is thought. The indications to follow are therefore the same as The Sims Mobile: look for the career you like best and work hard to advance in the adventure with your Sim. In this case, the most rewarding careers are those of Actor , Politician and Athlete . To start a career, simply follow the adventure, build the buildings that are required of you (eg art gallery) and start the missions that are proposed (eg start a career as an artist).
