How to know who visits my Facebook profile: Among the hundreds of messages I receive every day, there are questions that come back quite frequently. One of them is: “How do I know who visits my Facebook profile?”. In fact, there are many people who would like to find out who is looking for them online on social media, and therefore I have decided to provide an answer.
Let’s clarify immediately: on Facebook there is no tool that can allow users to see who the visitors of their profile are; if you see apps around that boast this thing, stay away from them: they are fake. However, it is possible to exploit some “tricks” to have at least some clues about their followers. Of course, from here to scientifically understand who goes to your profile, it passes, but it’s always better than nothing, don’t you think?
Well, since you agree, let’s proceed. Make yourself comfortable, take all the time you need to concentrate on reading the next paragraphs and, more importantly, try to put into practice the “tips” I am about to give you. There is nothing left for me to do, except wish you good reading and wish you a big good luck for your “investigations”!
Before getting to the heart of the guide, let me give you some important information about the topics we are going to cover.
First of all, as already mentioned in the introductory bars of the article, it must be said that there is no method for know who visits your Facebook profile with scientific certainty. On the web it is not difficult to come across solutions that still promise to get this information, but they are fake. In fact, these are apps designed to capture the data of those who use them and / or to perform other little activities nice (except, of course, those promises). You stay away, please!
Taking this into account, what you can do to know who visits your Facebook profile is to use some functions of the social network in a “smart” way, thanks to which you will be able to guess (but not be sure, of course) if a certain user is whether or not it has appeared on your profile. All clear? Well then I’d say we can finally take action!
How can I find out who visits my Facebook profile
So let’s see the answer to the question that brought you to this article: how do i know who visits my Facebook profile? Try following the tips below and you might get some good results in this regard.
See who views the stories
See who views the stories that you post on Facebook is a rather “clever” way to try to understand who has visited your profile. As I told you, you cannot be sure that this actually happened, since it is not necessary to go to a user’s profile to look at their history, but it is still a clue to take into consideration.
To see your Stories views, log into Facebook from its app for Android or iOS / iPadOS, press on the box Your story, presses on the wording Views located at the bottom left and you see the list of users who have seen the published content: these people may have also gone to your profile.
If you want, you can also do this from PC: all you have to do is log into Facebook on his main page, click the box Your story and take a look at views, shown in the box on the right.
Analyze likes and comments received on posts
Another “move” that I invite you to make to try to understand who “peeks” at your Facebook profile analyze likes and comments received on posts. Let me tell you how to do this on both mobile and PC.
To proceed from mobile, log into Facebook from its app for Android or iOS / iPadOS, presses on your profile picture located in correspondence with the item What are you thinking about?, scroll down your profile screen and locate the post of your interest. Then tap on the item [Nome Cognome] and others [N] people and / or Comments: [N] (both words can be found under the post itself), in order to see who interacted with the published content.
If you want to proceed from PC, log into Facebook on his main page, click yours first name (located at the top right), locate the post of your interest and click on the links [Nome Cognome] and others [N] people and / or Comments: [N], both located under the post itself, so you can see who interacted with the content by leaving likes, comments, etc.
See who is online
Users who are connected to Facebook may not be viewing your profile; anyway, see who is online on Facebook at the same time as you, it may be another clue to consider.
To see users online from mobile, log into Facebook from its app for Android or iOS / iPadOS and tap in an “empty” point of the row displayed at the top, containing the thumbnails of profile photos of users currently online, marked with green dot. Then scroll with your finger the list of users in question, in order to view them all.
From PCInstead, log into Facebook on his main page and check the active users (those marked with green dot) listed on the right, under the heading Contacts.
Can’t see who’s online on Facebook? Perhaps none of your Facebook friends are online or, more likely, you have deactivated your online status to prevent others from knowing when you are connected to the social network and, consequently, you cannot see this information either. To solve, just disable the setting you changed, following the instructions I gave you in this other guide.
See who follows you
See who follows you would have been another useful move to try to figure out who is going to your profile. I use the conditional because, at the time of writing, it appears that Facebook has removed this possibility on the new UI released in 2020.
It used to be possible to do this simply by clicking on the link Follower present on your profile, as documented in my article.
Delete applications to know who visits the profile
Did you use apps in the past to see who saw your profile and now they seem to no longer work? As I told you in one of the previous chapters, these are potentially very risky privacy solutions, to be deleted from your account. How? You can find it explained right below.
- From mobile – log into Facebook from its app for Android or iOS / iPadOS, tap the button (≡) and go to Settings and privacy> Settings> Apps and websites. In the screen that opens, tap on the wording Edit located in correspondence with the item Logged in with Facebook and delete unwanted applications from your account by tapping them first name and then pressing the button Remove (at the bottom of the screen, on the right) twice.
- From PC – log into Facebook on his main page, click on the button (▾) located at the top right and select the items Settings and privacy> Settings from the menu that appears. On the page that is shown to you, click on the item Apps and websites located in the left sidebar, click on the option Active / e to see the list of applications that have access to your profile, then locate the name of the one you installed to find out who visits your profile and you want to get rid of (click on the link See More to expand the menu and see it). Click on hers first name, then, scroll to the bottom of the page in the box that appeared on the screen and then press the buttons Remove (twice) e end to complete the procedure.
