Preliminary operations

As anticipated, the blind carbon copy is a particular header of e-mail messages, which allows you to send e-mails to multiple people without the recipients being able to view their respective names or e-mail addresses.

Therefore, before explaining how to hide email recipients using this feature, I invite you to start the email client, app or Webmail service that you generally use to manage emails and create the email message you want to send. .

Regardless of whether you are using an email client for a computer, an app for smartphones and / or tablets or a Webmail service from a browser, in order to start composing a new email all you have to do is press the button to write a new message, which is usually found at the top of the screen and which, generically speaking, could have an icon in the shape of a pencil or it could simply be called New message .

Once this is done, locate the Subject field and type the subject of the letter (i.e. a brief description of the content). Also leave the To field blank , that is the one in which the address of the recipient of the message is usually typed, since in implementing the procedure I am about to explain – the one aimed at hiding the recipients of an email – you will have to enter the addresses of email of the people you want to email in other fields.

Also, if you want to send files along with the email, you need to use the Add Attachments feature, usually accessible by clicking the paperclip button .

Finally, complete the drafting of your email, using the appropriate text editing tools usually located at the top of the message screen. For more information, you can also consult my guide on how to write an email that is dedicated more specifically to the topic.
