How to find a person on Facebook knowing only the name: Driven by the desire to know what happened to your old classmates, you too, as well as many other users in the world, have decided to join Facebook. So you read my tutorial on the subject and immediately proceeded to create an account on the famous social network. Now, there is nothing left to do but send a nice friend request to your old friends … pity only for the fact that you can remember their name but not the surname. As a result, you have no idea how to search for them through Mark Zuckerberg’s famous report. But that doesn’t mean you won’t be able to get in touch with them anyway. Find a person on Facebook only knowing their name it is in fact something feasible and if you want I can explain to you how.
How do you say? You are interested in this, but not being very practical in terms of computer science and new technologies, you fear that it is out of your reach? Never! All you will have to do to succeed in your intent will be to take advantage of the appropriate search tools, filters and suggestions that the famous social network makes available to its users. The fact that the surname does not come to mind implies little, what matters is that you are able to remember other details such as, for example, the city of birth, the name of the schools attended (in fact) and so on. In short, as you can see, the thing is less tragic than it may seem.
So tell me, would you like to finally put the chatter aside and get to the heart of the matter? Yup? Great! So I suggest not wasting any more time and immediately starting to get busy. Position yourself comfortably in front of your trusty computer or grab your smartphone or tablet, if you prefer to act as a mobile, and read the instructions on what to do below. Clearly, I cannot give you the absolute certainty that in the end you will be able to really find who you are looking for as the variables involved are many but, as they say, trying doesn’t hurt. Good luck!

What to do after finding someone on Facebook
When you think you have finally found the person you were looking for, click / stop on his name to view, depending on what is defined in the privacy settings of the reference user, further information, photos, videos and so on, scrolling through the diary and / or by clicking / pressing first on the tabs under the cover image.
I particularly suggest you take a look at the card Friends (always under the cover image) to find out if there are any mutual friends or in any case if you can identify other people you may know. In this way you can get an even more precise idea of the user in question and try to understand which “circle of friends” he is part of.
And if the person whose profile you are viewing is just the one you were looking for … send him a friend request so that you can get in touch with the latter on a permanent basis! Don’t you know how to do it? But it’s very easy, both from a computer and from a smartphone and tablet! In fact, you just need to press the button add to friends that you find in correspondence with the name of the person on the social network.
Once this is done, you will have to wait for the user to accept your request and when this happens you will receive a notification through which you will be told, precisely, that the user in question has accepted and has therefore been added to the list of your Facebook friends. If, on the other hand, the user ignores your request but refuses it (unfortunately take into account that it can happen), you will not receive any notification.
