If you want to learn how to enter the Windows 8 BIOS of a new PC supplied “standard” with the latest Microsoft operating system, the first step you need to take is to call up the Windows Charms bar by positioning the mouse cursor in the high corner or bottom right of the screen and click first on the Settings icon and then on the item Change PC settings in the right sidebar.

Then wait for the blue screen to appear with the startup options of the operating system and click first on Troubleshooting and then on Advanced Options and UEFI Firmware Settings . Then select the Restart option and the computer will restart again to give you access to the UEFI configuration utility.
