How to edit black and white photos: You really like them artistic black and white photos and would you like to apply this beautiful effect to some photos you have saved on your PC? Have you scanned some old black and white family photos and want to correct the imperfections present in them? No problem.
You must know that you do not need to be a photo editing expert to perform operations of this kind. To learn how to edit black and white photos with your computer, follow the instructions I am about to give you and you will see that by using the right solutions you will be able to obtain the desired results in a much easier way than you expect.
If you want to find out how to edit black and white photos so as to turn a color image into a black and white photo, I recommend using Pixlr. It is a completely free online photo editing service that allows you to edit photos easily, quickly and without installing any software on your PC. Works on all major browsers (eg Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer) and operating systems.
To convert a photo to black and white with Pixlr, connect to main page of the service and click on the button Open an image from your computer to select the image to retouch. At this point, select the item Remove saturation from the menu Adjustment and the photo will become black and white.
To perfect the effect, you can adjust Brightness and contrast or Curves by selecting the appropriate items from the menu Adjustment by Pixlr. Then, when you are satisfied with the result, you can download the image you just edited on your PC by going to the menu File> Savespecifying first name And format of file to export the image and clicking on the button OK.
If you don’t feel like using an online service and you have Photoshop installed on your computer, you can turn color photos into black and white simply by selecting the item Remove saturation from the menu Image> Adjustments of the Adobe photo editing program.
