If you want download the Facebook app on your Android smartphone or tablet, what you have to do is carefully read all the procedures that I will describe to you in the next chapters.

Preliminary information

To download the Facebook it is necessary to carry out some essential operations first. Self you have properly configured your smartphone or tablet at the time of purchase, many of these will probably not be necessary, but for the sake of accuracy I want to point them out to you.

First, to download an app from the Play Store you need a Google account: if you don’t already have one, I suggest you read my guide on how to create a Google account. If you decide to proceed directly from your Android terminal, the account will be automatically associated with it.

Otherwise, if you have decided to create a Google account from your PC, you will then need to associate it with your Android device. You can proceed with this operation easily, via the menu settings> Accounts of Android, following all the instructions I have given you in my guide dedicated to the subject.

With that done, the next step you need to take is to make sure you have one Internet connection active. This procedure is necessary if you want to download the Facebook app from the Play Store and use it: in fact, Facebook is a social network that requires an Internet connection to view all your content and those of other users in real time.

First, launch the Play Store, pressing on its icon (the one with the symbol of a colorful triangle) located on the home screen or in the drawer (ie the “drawer” with all the applications on your device).

How to download other Facebook apps for Android

In addition to the official Facebook app to view the contents published on this social network, there are also other apps made by the same company, which perform specific functions. For example, if you want to chat with your friends you will need it Messenger, while to manage your Facebook page, you will need to equip yourself with the app Business Suite.


Messenger on Android

To chat with your Facebook friends on your Android smartphone or tablet, you will need to install the app Messenger. To download it, you must keep in mind that you must first meet all the requirements that I have indicated to you in this chapter.

Having said that, to download the app Messenger, you can search for its name in the Play Store, using the search bar located at the top. Alternatively, to speed up this search, press here directly from your Android device, in order to view the Messenger app tab on the Play Store.

After you have viewed the app card Messenger or Messenger Lite, simply press the button Install, to start the download and, then, the installation.

You can download this app from the Play Store by tapping on this link from your smartphone or tablet or by searching for its name in the Play Store, using the search bar located at the top. In the card of Facebook Business Suite, you must then press the key Install, in order to start the download and, consequently, the installation of the app.

If you don’t have the option to get the app Facebook Business Suite from the Play Store, you can proceed with this operation via file APK.
