The first step you need to take for change hair color with Photoshop is to start the program through its icon on the desktop or in the Windows Start menu, and in the window that opens, select the item You open from the menu File to open the photo in which to change the hair shade.
Then duplicate the background layer of the image by right clicking on the item Background placed in the panel at the bottom right and clicking on the item Duplicate Layer in the menu that appears, and select it lasso tool from the toolbar located on the left side of the screen.
Now, you need to create a selection by holding down the left mouse button and contouring the hair of the person portrayed in the photo as precisely as possible. Once you have created the selection including the hair to change color, refine the edges by clicking on the button Refine Edges (top center) and adjust the values radius, Round up, Fade, etc. using the appropriate scroll bars.
At this point, all you have to do is select the item Adjustments> Hue / Saturation from the menu Image of Photoshop and change the hair color of the person in the photo by moving the slider of the scroll bar Hue. When you are satisfied with the result, click on the button OK to save the changes. If the hair coloring seems too bright to you, you can limit it a bit by decreasing the value Saturationin any case do not worry because now we are going to make the coloring more natural.
You discovered how to change hair color with Photoshop and the work is almost done, but to make the transformation really perfect you have to erase any smudges of the hair color change using the tool eraser and make the coloring more natural by lowering the opacity of the layer Copy background at about 70%. To lower the opacity of the layer you have to use the appropriate scroll bar in the upper right part of the layers panel (in the lower right part of the screen).
When finished, you can save your photo with colored hair by selecting the item Save with name of the menu File of Photoshop. In the window that opens, indicate the folder in which to save the image, type the file name in the appropriate text field and click on the button Save to complete the operation.
