What does it mean to ban from a Facebook page
If you are the administrator of a Facebook page, you can take action against those users who engage in inappropriate behavior in respect of your own page, the content you publish or, in general, the Facebook community by adopting the ban.
You should know that when you ban a user, they will no longer be able to post any comments, leave reviews, send you messages (if you have enabled this feature), put “I like” and, in general, take any other action on yours. It is a “hard” move but reversible at any time, in case of second thoughts.
Having said that, if it is your intention to perform this operation, in the next chapters I will explain how to act both from a computer, via a web browser, and via the app Facebook, which you can download from both Play Store of Android that fromApp Store of iOS / iPadOS.
How to ban a fan from a Facebook page
You have been using Facebook since computer? Well, in the panel of Settings of the social network there is a section relating to all users who have put “Like” or who simply follow your page. Through this list, you can identify one or more users you want to ban and proceed with this operation, which will require just a few clicks.
First, get to the Facebook home page, log in and, from the left sidebar, select the item Pages. At this point, click on the page name that you manage and press on the item Settings, which you find at the top right.
In the panel that is shown to you, click on the item People and other Pages, in the side menu, and use the appropriate drop-down menu at the top to select the list from which to identify the user you want to ban. You can search for it among those who have liked (Person who likes this page) or among those following it (People who follow this page). If the user to be banned is, in turn, a Facebook page, choose the list Pages who like this page.
After carrying out this procedure, scroll down the list to find the user’s name. You can also help you with the search bar placed at the top. When you have found it, put a check mark in the box next to its name and press thegear icon, which you find above the list.
What you need to do now is choose the voice Block from Page in the box that is shown to you and click on the button Confirmation, to ban the user. The latter allows you to force the removal of the “Like” of the user, so as not to allow him to follow you anymore.
Certainly, by doing so, the user will not receive real-time updates of your page, but it will not forbid him to search for it and follow you again. The decision on which action to take against a fan who follows you (and who you want to remove) is entirely up to you.
