Skype

There is still someone who does not know Skype? It is the most famous VoIP software in the world that allows you to talk for free via the Internet using voice calls, the video chat or the classic textual conversations. Added to this is the opportunity to contact traditional telephone numbers all over the world at extremely affordable prices. It is available for all possible and imaginable platforms: Windows PC, Mac, Android, iPhone, iPad, Windows Phone and other devices. Viber it’s a free VoIP client for smartphones which allows you to send messages and talk for free via the Internet on all the main platforms of the mobile sector: iOS (iPhone), Android, Windows Phone, BADA, Nokia terminals and BlackBerry OS. It is very easy to use and, by accessing the phone book, it automatically recognizes all your contacts who are subscribed to the service. Unlike Skype, it does not allow you to buy credit to make phone calls to standard users. To subscribe to it, just type in your mobile number and wait for a confirmation code to arrive via SMS. Facebook Messenger

Another application that doesn’t need any introduction. Facebook Messenger is Facebook’s mobile solution to chat with your friends online from any smartphone. It is compatible with iPhone and Android and in the latest versions it also includes the option of talk for free with your contacts online via VoIP (as well as being able to chat with them by sending the classic text messages). Facetime

FaceTime is a service of free video calls offered by Apple to all users with an iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch or Mac equipped with OS X Lion or higher. Using it, it is possible talk for free with your friends in the iCloud address book (ie the iPhone address book) using the front camera of Apple portable devices or the Mac webcam.
